We also offer specific training in the form of "shadow-shifts", also known as "buddy-shifts", with experienced team members and/or healthcare specialists such as a physiotherapist, occupational therapist or neuropsychologist.

Employment requirements

What you will need to bring to your interview with us:

  •  Current National police certificate (or willingness to obtain one);

  • International police certificate (or willingness to obtain one) if you have lived overseas for more than 12 months since you turned 16);

  • Proof of work entitlement;

  • Current working with children check for employment (or willingness to obtain one if working with a person 18 years or younger);

  • Provide at least two professional employment references;

  • Current Level 2 First Aid - HLTAID003 (or willingness to obtain one);

  • Certificate IV in Disability or Aged Care or equivalent industry experience (preferred but not required);

  • Acceptance to participate in the Victorian Disability Workers Exclusion Scheme;

  • Reliable transport;

  • Mobile Phone.
